So I'm going to LSU for the summer. What's college like there and the surrounding area/atmosphere?

The campus is huge and has a lake in it! There are numerous restaurants on campus as well. Baton Rouge is a nice town but they have a lot of traffic. There are some shopping malls and plenty of things to do. The capitol is downtown and they have pretty gardens surrounding it. Since LSU is such a big school you won't run out of things to do. It is a little hot though.
