How is the job market in Louisiana right now?

I am thinking of moving back home by next year max, I am thinking of moving to East Baton Rouge, LSU area, or at worst New Orleans, I am curious to hear from anyone who is currently living there, I am not a skilled worker, I mainly work at fast food, or other restaurant or any other menial job.
