How would YOU fix the college football post season?

The big thing that prevents a playoff is the elimination of bowl games and it would make the regular season less important. So I say keep the bowl games and have the top 8 teams play in a playoff format. That would keep the current bowl games, make the regular season games retain their importance because you would have to be in the top 8 to be eligible to play in the playoff in the National Championship, and give us the playoff we've all been waiting for.
