Should I go to the University of Alabama or LSU? College help!?

I really really need advice. I want to go to medical school so I understand the school you go to doesn't matter. I know that GPA and MCAT scores are all that matter. That being said, I have the opportunity to go to LSU or the University of Alabama. I would be in the Honors College for each. The cost would be about the same. I would have to pay very little to go to LSU (because it is my state school and I received scholarships), and I would probably be paid a little bit to go to Alabama. My true dilemma revolves around two key issues. Should I go to Alabama where I would get the out of state experience, much smaller classes, and a more personalized honors college? Or should I go to LSU (I have grown up loving LSU and going to all the football games), where all of my best friends and girlfriend of 2 years are going, despite the budget cuts, economic uncertainty, and much larger classes? Basically, UA with more personalized OOS experience or LSU with bigger classes and all of my best friends?
