Moving from midwest to Baton Rouge, Louisiana....will I experience a huge culture shock?

I am a junior in high school and have lived in the midwest for my entire life. This summer I will be moving to Baton Rouge to complete my senior year there and then attend LSU the following year. Will I experience a huge culture shock upon moving there? I am used to southern accents seeing as my mom is southern, so that wont be a big adjustment, but I am more wondering the differences in people. I am worried about if I will fit in and be accepted by the southern adolescents and be able to make friends. I just dont know what high school kids in baton rouge are like compared to kids here in Lincoln.
