EA Sports NCAA Football Team Builder Question?

Hello, am wondering if I go out and buy NCAA Football 10 if I can activate the Team Builder function and download teams or if it is too late and would have to go with 11/12. I know with previous EA Sports games after the new games come out they stop supporting the older ones. Curious if this is the case with this game. Thanks!
